1.       Mampi her real names are Mirriam Mukape 

2.       She was born on 4 August 1986

3.       She is a Zambian pop and R&B singer, actress and songwriter who performs under the stage name Mampi.

4.       Her music is kwaito and reggae inspired

5.       She is one of the most viewed Zambia female artist on youtube

6.       She started singing in church at the age of six

7.       She attended her primary education at Muyooma Basic School, and secondary education at Libala High School, and the Springfields Coaching Centre in Lusaka

8.       At the age of 14 she lost her mother and then at 16 she lost her father

9.        She found herself homeless at times and was not able to further her education

10.    She cites prayer and being taken in by a friend's sister is what got her through the tough times in her life

11.   After the death of his father Mampi was discovered by a music producer and signed a record deal in 2003

12.   She released her first album Maloza in 2005 . She performed the song for her first appearance on National Television

13.    Her second album, Chimo ni chimo, was released in 2007

14.   She performed in Namibia for the first time in 2012, at Windhoek.

 

15.   In 2021 Mampi was a contestant during the seventh season of Big Brother Africa 7 as one of the celebrity housemates of the reality competition television series Big Brother Africa Star Game. 


Currently she is one of top powerful female celebrities in Zambia with a great net worth.
